Is therapy for life transitions covered by insurance?+

Yes — over 90% of our clients use insurance. We're in-network with Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Anthem BCBS, Oscar, Oxford, Healthfirst, Medicare, Medicaid, and more. We also offer self-pay and our SHIFT Access to Care Program (sessions from $50).

What's the difference between a life transition and Adjustment Disorder?+

"Life transition" isn't a clinical diagnosis on its own. When transition stress causes significant functional impairment, it may meet criteria for Adjustment Disorder. Our licensed clinicians complete careful clinical assessments and coordinate with medical providers when needed.

What if my first therapist isn't the right fit?+

Do I need a diagnosis to access therapy for a life transition?+
