Bilingual Therapist (Haitian Creole + English)

OFFICE LOCATION : NEW YORK

You Don’t Have to Face Life’s Challenges Alone

Whether you’re coping with trauma, anxiety, grief, or uncertainty about the next step in your life, my goal is to create a space where you can experience clarity, strength, and healing.

At SHIFT Your Journey™, I believe therapy is most powerful when it feels collaborative — built on a foundation of trust, empathy, and genuine understanding. My role is to walk beside you with compassion, helping you reconnect with your inner resilience and move toward the life you want to create.

My Path to Counseling

Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade working in higher education, supporting low-income, first-generation college students from diverse backgrounds.

That experience taught me the transformative impact of trust, mentorship, and encouragement — and it continues to shape the way I show up for my clients today. My counseling style emphasizes empowerment, self-awareness, and growth, grounded in the belief that healing begins when we feel seen and supported for who we truly are.

My Approach to Therapy

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and person-centered, tailored to meet your unique needs. I integrate several evidence-based and culturally informed modalities, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Reframing negative thoughts and behaviors

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – Supporting trauma recovery

  • Ecotherapy – Using nature-based principles to restore balance and calm

  • Person-Centered Therapy – Centering empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard

  • Polyvagal-Informed Techniques – Helping the nervous system return to safety and stability

Each session reflects the values of The SHIFT Approach™ — integrating evidence-based methods, cultural formulation, and generational emotional wealth building to support holistic healing and long-term transformation.
