My Path to Counseling
My path into the mental health field was shaped by a lifelong calling to bring harmony and hope to others. I am a proud graduate of Jacksonville State University, where I earned a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of serving clients across a wide range of systems and communities — from military members and federal employees to families, couples, and children navigating the complexities of daily life. My experience includes:
Federal & Military Settings: Supporting active duty, guard, and reservist service members and their families
Employee Assistance Programs (EAP): Guiding federal employees through stress, burnout, and work-life balance
Addiction & Recovery: Counseling NA/AA participants in federal environments
Correctional & State Systems: Providing therapy to incarcerated individuals in state-level facilities
Child & Family Systems: Working with DCF programs and family court systems
Private Practice: Serving individuals, couples, and families managing depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar I & II, and BPD
These diverse experiences have taught me the power of empathy, collaboration, and spiritual balance in helping people reclaim their lives and purpose.
My Approach to Therapy
As a therapist, I am deeply rooted in peace, harmony, and balance — values that guide my work and shape each session. My therapeutic approach is both spiritual and evidence-based, integrating:
