Hello, I’m Kacia — Here to Help You Thrive with Compassion and Curiosity
Hi there! My name is Kacia (pronounced Kay-shuh), and I’m a proud West Coaster with a deep love for nature, travel, and the human experience. My fascination with mental health led me to a career devoted to helping others develop strong and lasting mental wellness. I believe in creating a space where your complexity is honored — where who you are and who you’re becoming are both celebrated.
Together, we’ll explore the meaning behind your experiences and work through emotions and habits you’re ready to better understand, strengthen, or reframe. I show up with presence, empathy, and genuine curiosity, because your story deserves to be heard and held with care.
My Approach to Therapy
I practice from a culturally sensitive, person-centered perspective, fostering open and candid conversations in a safe, supportive space. I specialize in working with young adults navigating:
Depression and anxiety
Generational trauma
Relationship dynamics and communication
Identity exploration
I also have experience supporting:
LGBTQ+ individuals
Clients with disabilities
Culturally diverse communities
My holistic approach draws from several therapeutic modalities, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Understanding and reshaping thought patterns
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Promoting emotional flexibility and values-based living
Psychodynamic Therapy – Exploring deeper emotional patterns rooted in past experiences
Positive Psychology – Highlighting your strengths and empowering personal growth
Together, we’ll find what works best for you — always centering your goals and values.
Who I Support
I work with:
Young adults

How Therapy Can Help
Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. My role is to walk with you — not in front of you — as you move through life’s challenges. Whether you’re looking to heal from the past, connect more deeply with others, or simply get to know yourself better, I’m here to support your growth every step of the way.
My Qualifications
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego, and my Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College. I’ve worked with individuals and couples facing a range of challenges, including substance use, major life transitions, career development, and more.
Take the First Step
If you’re ready to begin your journey toward greater clarity, connection, and emotional wellness, I’d be honored to work with you. Let’s create a space where you can feel safe, empowered, and fully seen.
Looking forward to connecting with you.
Warmly,
Kacia
